G2A Studio were commissioned to develop modular designs for eight sites located on Waiheke Island. G2A Studio developed a “set” of villas created in a distinctive yet consistent architectural language, while ensuring that each villa is unique and customised to its specific location.

G2A Studio has used its experience and passion for modular construction to create these unique villas from prefabricated components. Although each villa is different, they will be constructed from a “kit” of only five standard modules, configured differently for each design.

These modules will touch the ground lightly, minimising disturbance to the landscape, with only minimal footings at the rear edge. Each villa will follow the natural contours of the site and be oriented to capture the best views from its location.
