Airlie Gardens

Kensington, England

Graham Applin was approached to convert three large apartments back into a large family home, changing them from a traditional Victorian into a highly contemporary and transparent interior. This contravened planning policy at the time and a basement swimming pool upset a residents committee but the work was completed and consented within a year. The house sold for a record sum and was featured in GQ magazine in 2001
